The meeting started at around 4:15 PM with Mr. Dennis Madrigal leading the prayer and presiding as the Team Leader.

The following matters were discussed during the meeting:
1. The mechanics of the Brain Challenge were briefly reviewed and discussed, especially on the short listing of team contestants, coverage of the quiz bowl, application forms to be submitted to the Executive Committee on January 28.
2. As part of the review strategy, the group decided that each contestant will be given a particular topic to concentrate so as to divide the enormous task of studying the whole coverage of the quiz bowl. But it was also pointed out that each contestant must also take time to read/review other topics which were not assigned to them.
The following were the topics with assigned contestants to study:
Old Testament - Ariane Torres and Dexter Dioso
New Testament - Dennis Madrigal and Leila Magalona
OAR and UNO-R History - Ma. Cristina Quillo and Fatima Medel
Saint Augustine - Robelin Javier and Eden Galve
Province of St Ezekiel Moreno - Diana Concepcion and Imelda Matullano
3. The members of the group also agreed to meet every Wednesday around 4:15PM at the REED Office for a weekly group study/review in preparation for the actual contest date on February 22.
February 1, 8 and 15 were scheduled for the review.
The meeting was adjourned around 5:00 PM.
